Short eBooks to Help with Your Resolutions

It is the time of year when a lot of us make resolutions for things we want to do differently in the new year. Sometimes, it helps to have a little nudge in the right direction. Here are some short eBooks that might provide that nudge:

If you resolved to make better use of your time, there are several potentially useful books in the Advice and Self-Improvement category: three in a series by Laura Vanderkam examining the habits of people who make good use of their time and one by me about increasing your productivity and keeping your work week from taking over your entire life.

If you resolved to learn about new things, the True Stories section might have some good leads for you. I found Uprising and the Heart of Haiku to be particularly informative about topics I had not previously studied, but if you do not have a background in scientific research, you might want to check out The Pioneer Detectives, too.

And If you resolved to add more whimsy to your life (a particularly good resolution, I think), the books in the Fantasy and Steampunk and Quirky Stories Involving Animals categories will definitely help. Feel free to leave any other suggestions in the comments!
