Today's post is a Book Introduction for the first in a planned series of novellas about B-movie monsters in the modern world... which sounds like a lot of fun!
Zombies: A Labor Of Love
by Kathy Bryson
Those who know me were a little surprised by the choice of zombies in my new series. Okay, they weren’t that surprised. Earlier I wrote leprechaun love stories, so really zombies weren’t that odd a choice for me. But they were a very personal one.

I don't read horror, but that is a personal preference, not an indictment of the genre. I'm always happy to share book introductions for horror short ebooks. Today's book introduction comes to us from English author Dane Cobain.

This is a guest post by Dave Tomlinson, introducing his collection of travel stories. I love a good travel story, so I've added this to my "to read" list...read the post and see if you might want to, as well.

This is a Book Introduction guest post from M. T. Miller, introducing a "grim but funny" book. The description reminds me a bit of the movie Memento, which might just be enough to make me pick it up. Read the introduction and see if it intrigues you, too.

This is a Book Introduction guest post from Mary M. Schmidt, introducing a short book in the form of a narrative poem, that takes place in a Roman feral cat colony with an all feline goat chorus. And if that doesn't hook you, read on... I think the rest of the introduction will!

This is the second Book Introduction guest post. I’m not a big fan of horror—the genre tends to give me nightmares. But why should my squeamishness keep the rest of you from a good story? Here author Kevin J. Kennedy introduces his new horror novella.

This is the first in what I hope will become a somewhat regular series of guest posts from authors introducing their short ebooks. It is modeled on the Big Idea posts at John Scalzi's Whatever blog, with the idea that a book's author can use this space to tell us why we should read their book. I have read and enjoyed all the books I post as recommendations on this site. That is not the case for books posted in this category.
